We love the Blue Mountains
When we get the chance, we put our hiking boots on and drive up to one of the beautiful spots in the Blue Mountains (Australia) for a (short or long) hike. There are so many great places to walk into the forest and discover all the native plants, wildlife and sceneries. The Natural Pass, starting at the Conservation Hut or at the other side, at the bottom of the Wentworth Falls, is one of our long term favourites. Not too long, walkable in an hour or 2 and our kids love it. The best side to start is at the Wentworth Falls as you will have to descent to halfway the falls, via steep stairs.
Best time to visit? After a couple of days of rain! We have been absolutely blown away by the falls (literally, as we couldn’t pass it) after the heavy rain last March. OK, the falls are great during summer as well, as the natural pools at the bottom are ideal for a dip!
